摘要:

华西牛是我国拥有完全自主知识产权的专门化肉牛新品种,是我国肉牛种业振兴的标志性成果。本文系统综述了华西牛在育种技术创新、良种繁育体系构建、产业化推广应用等领域的最新研究进展,全面梳理“十四五”国家肉牛育种联合攻关启动以来,华西牛在品种性能持续提升、产业体系逐步完善过程中取得的标志性核心突破,厘清了华西牛从品种培育到推广应用四十余年的发展脉络,进一步总结了华西牛选育推广进程中科研单位、龙头企业、养殖主体产学研深度融合、长期协同攻关的可复制实践经验,剖析当前华西牛产业发展在核心种源供给能力、跨区域协同推广机制、品种品牌价值建设等方面面临的现实制约与发展短板,明确了产业下一步升级需要破解的核心问题,在此基础上,本文结合我国肉牛产业发展需求提出华西牛未来中长期优化发展路径(如创新协同育种机制完善行业发展体系、强化科技引领完善核心育种技术、扩大育种群规模夯实核心种源供给能力、深化全产业链融合强化品牌建设、推动数字化升级构建智慧育种体系、拓展国际化布局提升国际市场竞争力)等,为我国肉牛自主品种的持续选育改良、本土畜禽遗传资源的保护与高效利用,以及推动我国肉牛产业实现种源自主可控的高质量发展目标,提供坚实的理论参考与可借鉴的实践依据。

Abstract:

Huaxi cattle, a specialized beef cattle variety with fully independent intellectual property rights in China, marking a landmark achievement in the sector's revitalization. This systematic review synthesizes the latest research advancements in Huaxi cattle across breeding technology innovation, superior breeding stock development systems, and industrial application. It comprehensively outlines the landmark breakthroughs achieved since the launch of the National Beef Cattle Breeding Joint Research Initiative during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, highlighting the continuous performance improvements and gradual refinement of its industrial ecosystem. The study maps out the over four-decade evolution of Huaxi cattle from breed development to widespread adoption, summarizing replicable best practices of deep industry-academia-research collaboration among research institutions, leading enterprises, and livestock farmers. It identifies current challenges in core breeding stock supply capabilities, cross-regional promotion mechanisms, and brand value enhancement, while pinpointing critical issues requiring resolution for industry upgrading. Based on these findings, the paper proposes medium-to-long-term optimization strategies tailored to China's beef cattle industry needs—including refining collaborative breeding mechanisms, strengthening core breeding technologies, expanding breeding populations to ensure sustainable supply chains, deepening full-industry-chain integration for brand development, advancing digital transformation to establish smart breeding systems, and expanding global presence to enhance international competitiveness. These recommendations provide robust theoretical foundations and actionable insights for sustainable improvement of domestic cattle breeds, protection and efficient utilization of local genetic resources, and achieving high-quality development goals with self-reliant breeding stock control in China's beef cattle sector.
